UGREEN 4K Ultra HD USB Webcam, Autofocus, Microphone & Privacy Cover, USB-A/USB-C Adapter, Plug-and-Play Video Calls

UGREEN 4K Ultra HD USB Webcam, Autofocus, Microphone & Privacy Cover, USB-A/USB-C Adapter, Plug-and-Play Video Calls

Product Description

The UGREEN CM831 is a USB 4K Ultra HD web camera with autofocus, dual microphones and a physical privacy cover. It records 4K at 30 fps, or 1080p at 60 fps for smoother motion, and comes with a USB-A to USB-C adapter so it connects to both older and newer laptops.

A laptop camera can be low-quality or badly placed, and a poor picture or sound on a call makes a poor impression. The UGREEN CM831 USB webcam clips onto your monitor or laptop and sends a clearer picture, with a built-in microphone, to your meeting at 4K. It is made for remote workers, students and teachers who spend time on video calls.

Key Features and Benefits

• Video resolution: 4K Ultra HD video.
• Built-in microphone: Picks up your voice for calls without a separate microphone.
• Autofocus: Keeps you in focus as you move.
• Privacy cover: A physical cover for the lens when you are not on a call.
• USB-A and USB-C: Includes an adapter so it connects to both USB-A and USB-C ports.
• 4K sensor: an 8 megapixel CMOS sensor gives sharper detail than a 1080p webcam, useful for presenters and content creators. Set 4K manually in your video app.
• Noise-cancelling mics: two omnidirectional microphones with AI noise cancellation cut background noise on calls.
• Two connectors: a 2 m USB-A cable plus an adapter for USB-C ports.

Buying and Setup Tips

• Place the camera at eye level and face a window or lamp for better light.
• Choose the resolution your meeting software and internet connection can handle.
• Check that your computer has a free USB port.
• Your computer, USB port and meeting app all need to support 4K video before you see 4K output.
• Most calling apps cap the stream at 720p or 1080p, so the extra resolution mainly helps with recording and streaming software.
