Good to know
Measure your laptop's thickness at the closed edge; anything over 26 mm (some gaming laptops) will not fit. Running a laptop closed on an external screen is fine for most machines, but keep the vents clear of the pads.

The slot width (up to 26 mm) is fine, but the stand is specified for laptops up to 15.6 inches; a 16-inch machine will stand taller than the holder and should be placed with care.
Can I put a tablet in the second slot?
Yes, any tablet or laptop thicker than 12 mm, including one in a case, can go in the second slot.
Does the laptop still charge while standing vertically?
Yes; ports on the sides remain accessible, so you can leave the power and monitor cables connected.
